A week from E.Pat - April 24, 2017

April 24, 2017

So I would like to start off my email giving A few shout outs
      - first Shoutout to my boy John for getting baptized next week
on the 30th                          ( he is the guy we were working
with, he could never get Sundays off from work, and we knew the CEO of
the company he works for, and we asked the CEO if he could get
Sunday's Of to come to church) # Connections
- 2nd shout out to my boy E. Baldwin Aka DarkWhyte easily most savage
Missionary in the CLAM πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
- 3rd shout out goes to my trainer  for finally getting on that dating
life in Wyoming 🐴 🐴
-  4th goes out to Elder Stutz in the San Jose mission bro I can't
wait to shred it with you πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½
-Last one goes out to elder Burns in the Idaho mission ... Connections
will be made after the mission 🀝🀝🀝🀝

So everything was going good this week until our investigators start
dropping us like James Harden ( shout out to the Rockets πŸš€ ... doing
big things this year) ... That family of 3  that we had found dropped
us πŸ’§πŸ‘‡πŸ½Tuesday morning after we had confirmed with them , they were
so prepared, we even set a baptismal date with them. I'm so salty.
Also on the way to dinner some guy was asking for money by the
restaurant ,and we don't have any money πŸš«πŸ’° because we are balling on
a budget, so we thought we could give him a card with Jesus Christ on
it,and the dude took the card and started to eat it. We thought he was
on drugs so we dippedπŸƒπŸΏ
Then Tuesday night we are on the way to our next lesson with a lady
who has a baptismal date, we had even started to teach her husband who
had sat skipped out on prior lessons,. She texted us that she didn't
want to meet with us anymore. That night I just wanted to lay in my
bed go into my light skin phase and listen to some slow drake music
and just reminisce , but I can't let my worries get to me .. And then
on Sunday we had this little kid try to pee on us while we were
talking to his mom, but we escaped the dreaded yellow rain!
With all the bad stuff being said I fell like the lord is helping us
become better missionaries by testing our patience and to see how
much we love the people in our area.

On Thursday we had Zone  Conference, nothing big really happened.

Also we had the opportunity to meet with this guy Roman( he is the guy
who kept smoking last week) but we got him down to smoke no cigarettes
this week. He also said that he believes the Book Of Mormon to be
true. We were able to set a baptismal date with him on the 7th of May.
( he told us he smoke two cigarettes so I took them away from him
πŸš«πŸš¬πŸ™…πŸΌπŸ™…πŸΌ)

These next two weeks are going to be awesome! We are preparing for a
back to back Baptism  and hopefully there can be another Three-Pete in
LA  ( but I'm not talking about the Lakers)

We have had the opportunity to visit with part member less
active Family. I hold a special place in my heart for part member
families because that's what kinda family I was in , and I had the
privilege to see my family be made whole as my father ,brother and
sister got baptized ( shout outs elder Fernsten and Elder Beck
πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½ Houston Texas mission '02-04)
I really love this area, and I love doing the work of the lord! I was
so glad to see john get baptized it's strengthen my testimony of Jesus
Christ.
I love y'all Stay Safe. πŸ€™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½✊πŸ½πŸ€™πŸ½❤️❤️❤️
Quote of the week goes to this guy named Russell that we meet in El Segundo
Us - " hey sir how are you doing"
Russell- "How does it look like I'm doing, I just pulled out a 100,000
$ Car out my Garage"
