Korea Town, Drake, and downtown living....

Things that I have noticed/ happens the first week of the transfer. 

-right Below Hollywood

- my apartments’ nickname is called the “Crusty Crab “. I’ll let the name explain itself. 

- most people in the area are tourist

- if they are not tourist, they are Korean 

- the nice place in my area is a Jewish community, it’s funny because it’s right behind the drake store...🤔🤔

- almost all the living spaces are tall locked apartment complexes.
- MIGUEL my Investigator in my last area got baptized!!!

- we used public transportation all the way from La Ceinega to Downey. And the bus broke down in the middle of South Central, my old area, and this lady start yelling and cursing at people. It was good to get a little refresher of my old area hahahaha

-And we walk everywhere!! It’s crazy!

Well guys it’s awesome to be on a mission, it’s my last Christmas here, crazy to think next Christmas I’ll be home next to a warm fire, with family gathered around while we sing Christmas carols next to a nice tree 🎄..... well that won’t happen for another year so I still got some time.

Wow transfers has come and gone!! And I’m sad to say that I am leaving. President has trusted me with the sacred responsibility of ............. Senior Companion lol !! I am so blessed to have this opportunity!! 

I’m sad to leave because we have a baptisim next week but that’s ok!!! My new area is wilshire. It’s in LA so I’ll be a real city boy 🌃!!!

I’m pretty sure that my neighbors hate me for being from Houston but I don’t sweat it hahaha!M nothing has really happened this week, my trainee is waiting on his visa to go to Sydney south mission in Australia 🇦🇺!!

🚗 Car Crash and World Series ⚾️⚾️

1. Congratulations to the Stros to make it to the World Series. It’s kinda bitter sweet because they are playing the dodgers which I have grown to enjoy because I live in LA but it’s whatever hahah!! 

Well this week has been good, on Tuesday while going to pick up our trainee someone decided to rear end somone who hit us. Kinda scary but I’m blessed to be safe 🙏🏽🙏🏽 !! 

Other than that this week has been chill, my comp sprained his ankle so we’ve been taking it easy!! Just tryna find investigators!!

Well this week has been good!!! We had a Baptism so that was amazing, it’s great to see someone you teach get baptized. We have worked with her for two months so that was cool 😎!!

As for transfers I’m staying in Downey again and I’m in a trio with Elder Hiatt and we are training!! It’s cool being with the Zone Leaders!! But I’m glad to be back in my own area!! 

The baptisim was great, the spirit was definitely there!!

Hey y’all!z, this week has been great, I got midcycle to the zone leaders area and I’m in a trio with them!! It’s fun!!

Other than that, nothing else really happened, I’m studying Christlike attributes and I read the Book of Mormon every night before I go to bed!! We have a Baptism coming up next week in my area!! So that’s supper awesome!! I was also able to join our mission president with our stake president in stake reports. It was awesome!! 

I love y’all and the mission!!

General Conference !!

Wow this week was full of great inspiring revelation. I love general Conference!! My favorite talk was by Henry B. Eyering!! Man supper powerful!!

On Thursday we were able to go to the house of the lord!! It was wonderful to take a break from the outside world. 

We have been working with our investigator Andrea, and she has a date for the 15th. We are gonna work hard for her!! 

Nothing else really happened. General Conference was amazing, I invite all y’all to read the Book of Mormon! Have a great week.
